Works well with Linux or Mac

AWESOME!

I tried the Lite version for only 10 minutes to control my PC (Vista), via iPad and knew this app was worth $20!! It works flawlessly..,as if I was sitting at my desk!

Leave my laptop at home.

Im an IT consultant. Ive stopped carrying my MacBook in 98% of my clients offices because I can connect to their server easily and quickly from my iPad. Thank you! Works great on Windows RDP machines, Linux VNC and OSX!

LOVE it!

I love this app. I have a home server and about 6 Virtual Machines running that Im always tinkering with. This app lets me work with them quickly and easily from my iPad and/or iPhone. I love it.

Works great on mixed Windows and Mac networks

This client connects very well and works intuitively with both Windows and Mac computers. It finds them automatically and connections are quick and solid. It uses the built-in Apple Screen Sharing or Windows Terminal Services hosts, so there is no additional hosting software to install. Its easily the best VNC/RDP client Ive used. This client does assume the host is on the same network. If you want to host across the Internet, you need to be familiar with port forwarding, firewalls, and static or dynamic DNS. If youre not comfortable with all that, you may want to look at another product built for that purpose.

Great VNC!!!

Ive tried a lot of vnc clients and this one is definitely the fastest. I love the ability to use greyscale when I have a slow data connection. I also like the fact that it doesnt have its own server...it take a bit of tinkering with port forwarding but totally worth it. Startup is faster than all others that ive used...im connected to my home network in seconds.

Not reliable

This app crashes continuously. Not very functional if it takes multiple attempts.

Works how all the others should.

Of the several vnc rdp apps Ive tried this works the most like an ipad app should. It lets you use your intuitive iOS gestures instead of trying to mimic controls of the desktop environments youre working in.

very good

whenever I have had an issue, which has not been often, I email the developer and a fix is out within a week. It works well.

Almost perfect but there is a bug in need of fixing

Great app! Near perfect. Fastest Remote Desktop there is. I tried them all. Top three Remote Desktop for sure. Bug I found though. Please fix in the next release. VNC cant change screen resolution right? Right. So if I connect with my iMac using remotix and then change the resolution of my desktop manually to match my ipad the app chokes big time. Clicking on different things basically freezes the app. If I connect to the desktop with the resolution already changed then your app works perfect. So its only when I change the resolution to anything other than the default 2560 x 1440 while connected. Please fix and then its an easy 5 stars. FYI much faster than jump desktop. **ALSO** Without some advance knowledge of port forwarding you cannot connect outside your home network. At least write a good tutorial on the subject for those with less than 200 IQ! Your faqs on it need work.

Excellent

I use this now to operate and monitor my remote backup computer from my bed using my iphone. It works amazingly well and has saved me a bunch of time and hassle. Well worth the money.

VERY good!

功能强大,物超所值。

Amazing!

Make sure you download tightvnc this is the best Remote Desktop app period!

Excellent controller

No problems connecting to various Mac and Windows boxes--even unfreezing one when its Bluetooth went down. Connecting to my office Xserve over VPN at home from my phone is a huge timesaver. Best VNC client for iOS.

Works just as good if not better than Apple Remote Desktop

This app is essential if you are in a position requiring you to log into client machines and servers all day. I have it on my iPhone and along with Cisco AnyConnect can access my network anywhere in the country. Quick and responsive UI as long as you have a solid network connection. All around solid app!

Good with minor flaws

This app replaced logmein almost perfectly. I use it to connect to my office computer which has 4 monitors attached. Every once in a while the app wont work and will give very ambiguous errors which are hard to hunt down. Also, sometimes the mouse clicks are unresponsive, but switching server scaling on or off usually takes care of that. Finally, sometimes the monitors wont redraw properly (i.e. one screen appears inside another) but again, switching server scaling will fix it most of the times. Overall its pretty good. I wouldnt try and work more complex things off of it, but to quickly turn off the machine or copy files to the server is great.

Excellent remote app

I have had several VNC / RDP applications - often times separate applications. Having lost access to what I had been using for some time (discontinued), I was in search of one that I hoped I would like as much. I found very quickly that I liked this much better, even. A single app for both, very nice behavior through the sessions and also a web client. Auto client detection is effective and I really like having a web client for simplicity. I’ve tested that only once thus far but it worked as expected. I must say, I really like that a lite version is offered for a trial run - the old TV effect is a great limitation allowing for a full and functional preview. It was only after a few behavioral test that I upgraded to the full version. I recommend this to anyone who can justify the cost - if you need it enough to buy it, it’ll do everything you need it to do.

Excellent VNC Client - Includes LAN Scanner

This VNC client is excellent. I just wish Id found it before paying for the Jump VNC client. Jump was very disappointing because it did not include a LAN scanner...meaning you need to know the IP address of your target machines (huge pain) OR install Jumps VNC server on each target machine (again, huge PAIN). Furthermore, In my view, installing a 3rd party VNC server on each target machine is totally unnecessary (at least for OSX machines - they ship with a VNC server already). With LAN scanner function I get a list of all my computers currently on the network, and to connect all I do is tap on one of the machines and enter its login credentials...so easy a cave man could do it!

screen sharing

Great for remote management and screen sharing configuration on Mac. This virtual network controller is secured with Secure Shell (SSH) program, which offers strong computer to machine authentication. SSH encrypts data in a Virtual tunnel, which protects your data. It has Remotix Cloud for Internet screen sharing, bonjour, LAN, Add Scanner, and Net Bios.

Been using it for ages- the best

I sold my laptop, because now I can use my 3 screen workhorse iMac at home from wherever I want. Just great.
